Bird Paintings

                                                                                 Drongo
                                                                     House sparrow
Envisioned as the source of inspiration for the poets as well as the modern day scientists Birds....the two winged beauty symbolizes the popular concept of peace and unity. Wings spread wide open, chirping their way into the embrace of the blue sky; they are the mortal beings that decry the need to wage a war for the sake to be alive. Defying all norms of separation and hatred that mankind has unleashed in the name of caste and creed on its own being, seeing them drifting in the seamless sky is still a sight that pleases the eyesight of many. They are sole creatures endowed with the boon to envision the beauty of Nature that God have bestowed upon the world without any hindrance and importantly malice. They are the embodiment of man's century old desire to marvel world's exquisiteness in all its glory.
Sadly concrete monsters have arisen in place of forests, swamps and fields once adorned with these feathered blossoms. To improve our life styles [or so we think!] we first cut the trees never thinking about the nests resting on it.
More than an aesthetic appreciation, this bird series is an enquiry in to the whereabouts of common birds, which once filled our backyards with their melodious songs, and painted it with their vibrant colours.
